Terms of service
Terms for the Antaeus beta.
These terms apply when you create an account or use the hosted Antaeus service. They are written to be read. The open-source Antaeus software is licensed separately under the Apache License 2.0.

1. Who we are
The hosted Antaeus service (“the service”) is operated by Milana Kerbel and Pavel Kerbel (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you use the service for an organization, you confirm that you may accept these terms for it. The beta is intended for adults developing or operating applications. Optional analytics requires a separate choice; agreeing to these terms does not grant analytics consent.
2. Beta and prepaid usage
The service is an early, limited beta with free capacity and optional prepaid usage. Features may change, pause or stop, and shared daily limits apply even with credit. There is no service-level commitment. Keep your own copies of content; purchased credit is kept separately from content.
You can buy $10, $25 or $100 of USD usage credit in a one-time Dodo Payments checkout. Dodo shows tax and the final total before payment; tax does not become usage credit. Credit carries forward without ordinary expiry while your account remains open. A one-time purchase does not enroll you in automatic charges. You must accept these prepaid terms before purchase.
The workspace owner separately authorizes paid usage by its API keys and playground. Free capacity is used first. Billable Drex allow, review and deny decisions cost $0.001 plus $0.000001 per validated input token, up to the smaller of $0.05 and available credit for each request. Failed, invalid, ambiguous or unmetered results and replays are uncharged. You can disable further paid usage in Billing at any time; already-started requests may still settle within their reserved amount.
For a refund of unused credit, disable paid usage and contactprivacy@antaeus.iowith your purchase ID. We reconcile completed and pending usage and return unused principal through Dodo to the original payment method, with tax and cent rounding reconciled against the original transaction. A refund, dispute or accounting issue pauses paid usage while the balance is reviewed. We also reconcile unused credit when an account is closed or the paid service ends. Mandatory consumer rights still apply.
Optional automatic top-up
Where offered in Billing, automatic top-up is off until the workspace owner separately accepts its displayed limits and authorizes a Dodo payment mandate. It adds the selected purchase's credit principal when the settled balance falls below 20% of that amount. Each USD card charge, including tax, is capped at the authorizing purchase's original total. No more than three successful or unresolved top-ups are permitted per UTC calendar month, with a cash ceiling of three times that total. A later manual purchase does not raise these limits. This is on-demand prepaid replenishment, not a monthly service subscription.
You can turn automatic top-up off in Billing. New dispatch stops before Dodo cancellation is attempted; a payment already dispatched may still complete and needs reconciliation. An unresolved or failed top-up stops further automatic charges and may require support before another purchase. A refund, dispute or accounting issue also pauses paid usage. Shared daily service limits still apply, and automatic top-up does not guarantee uninterrupted service.
3. Your account
You sign in with a code sent to your email address or with a supported sign-in provider such as Google, whose own terms also apply to that account. Keep access to your email and sign-in account secure, because it controls your Antaeus account, and tell us promptly atprivacy@antaeus.ioif you believe your account has been misused. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to accept these terms. Keep API keys secret, use only the scopes needed, and revoke a key promptly if exposed.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use the service to:
- break the law or infringe anyone’s rights;
- submit content you have no right to use, or sensitive personal data, such as health, biometric, government ID, or financial account data;
- make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on people without meaningful human review;
- probe, overload, or disrupt the service, get around its limits, or access other accounts’ data; or
- resell or provide the hosted service to others without our written permission.
Security researchers conducting good-faith vulnerability research should follow the safe-harbor and reporting guidelines on oursecurity page.
5. Your content
You keep all rights to the policies, inputs, and other content you submit. You give us permission to store and process that content only to provide the service to you, including through the service providers that host and run it: Clerk for sign-in, Cloudflare for storage and compute, and Drex for semantic evaluation, as described in the privacy notice. Antaeus does not use your content to train models. Provider processing, including content logs and Nace’s account-dependent model-improvement use, is described in the privacy notice. Use synthetic or appropriately deidentified inputs where possible; do not assume a provider has no logs. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions your content requires. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.
6. Decisions are experimental
The service returns decisions produced by experimental machine-learning evaluators without a validated accuracy guarantee for your use case. Decisions can be wrong, and a decision is not legal, compliance, or other professional advice. You decide whether and how to act on a decision, and you are responsible for those actions. Review important decisions yourself.
7. Open-source software
The Antaeus engine is open-source software available under theApache License 2.0. These terms cover the hosted service only; they do not limit your rights under that license.
8. Suspension and ending
You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account at privacy@antaeus.io. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other users at risk, and we may end the beta. Account closure is operator-assisted; request any available content export before closure. Necessary financial records may remain as described in the privacy notice. Unused purchased credit is reconciled under section 2; closure or suspension does not remove mandatory rights. Sections 5, 6, 9, and 10 continue to apply as relevant after your use ends.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability, to the fullest extent the law allows.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from the service. Our total liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of USD 50 or the hosted-service usage fees you paid in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, excluding tax. This cap does not reduce our obligation to reconcile and return unused purchased credit. Nothing in these terms excludes fraud or intentional misconduct, or limits liability or rights that cannot be limited by applicable law.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service develops. We will change the date above, and for material changes we will notify you by email or in the service before they apply. If you keep using the service after that, the updated terms apply.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts in Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Israel, have jurisdiction over any dispute about them. If you use the service as a consumer, this does not remove the protection of mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live or your right to bring a claim there.
13. Contact
For general questions about the service, contacthello@antaeus.io. Questions about these terms or privacy go toprivacy@antaeus.io. See the privacy notice for how personal data is handled.
