Antaeus v0.1.0 introduces the local policy engine

The first public release brings versioned policies, explicit decisions, a credential-free quickstart, and an experimental OpenAI evaluator.

v0.1.0 released .

Antaeus v0.1.0 is the first public release of the open-source policy engine and CLI. It turns human-written conditions into versioned decisions with four outcomes: allow, review, deny, and failure.

Run the contract locally

The release includes policy validation, content digests, a deterministic fixture evaluator, and portable regression contracts. The credential-free quickstart runs entirely on your machine. Fixtures supply synthetic evidence; they do not measure semantic model accuracy.

The experimental OpenAI evaluator adds semantic evaluation with your own provider credential. Evaluator profiles keep deadlines, retries, and fallbacks separate from authored policy outcomes. Decisions record the policy identity and evaluator evidence for inspection.

Prebuilt archives include SHA-256 checksums and build-provenance attestations. This is an early, pre-v1 release: public Go APIs and CLI behavior may change in minor releases. The semantic evaluator had not been measured on a frozen corpus at release and was not suitable for enforcement on its own.
